Ms. Miyoba Lubemba, Senior Programme Officer Institutional Strengthening, International Trade Centre

Ms. Miyoba Lubemba is Senior Programme Officer Institutional Strengthening at the International Trade Centre (ITC). ITC is the joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. ITC assists small and medium-sized enterprises in developing and transition economies to become more competitive in global markets. ITC is currently working with the East African Community (EAC) secretariat and the EU to grow East Africa’s tea export sector.

Miyoba’s work focuses on building the capabilities of Trade and Investment Support Institutions (TISIs) including business support organizations (BSOs) to deliver effective innovative services that ensure SME trade competitiveness. Miyoba’s expertise includes organization development, export promotion and development, trade policy and trade law. She has supported TISIs around the world in various agribusiness subsectors, in the IT sector and in manufacturing. Miyoba holds a MSc. in International Trade Policy and Trade Law (Lund University/Trade Policy Centre in Africa), BA. in Business Administration (Copperbelt University), BA Hons. Management (Anglia Ruskin University) and FdA Professional Practice in International Trade (Institute of Export and International Trade). She is a graduate member of the UK Institute of Export and International Trade.
