Christopher Lemein
Christopher Lemein Legilisho / Economist at the Standard Bank Group

Christopher is an Economist at the Standard Bank Group. He covers macroeconomic research fixed income and currency strategy, and his primary coverage is East Africa. Christopher is part of a larger team conducting macroeconomic research on African countries. Prior to joining Standard Bank, Christopher worked for fourteen and a half years at the Central Bank of Kenya, within Financial Markets in debt management, foreign exchange, and reserves management. Christopher was a member of the Foreign Exchange Reserves Investment Committee of the Central Bank of Kenya. He is a Fellow of the Milken Institute and International Finance Corporation Capital Markets Program and was featured in the Milken Institutes 2018 Power of Ideas magazine. Christopher holds a graduate certificate in capital markets from The George Washington University School of Business, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from Strathmore University in Kenya.
