In his role, he provides strategic and technical leadership for digital technology initiatives, overseeing the technical delivery of over 50 projects across 14 African countries collaborating with both public and private trade entities in diverse sectors including trade, agriculture, health, and logistics. He holds a BSc and an MBA in Management Information Systems as well as certifications such as PMP, Business Process Management (BPM). Starting as a software developer, Erick’s career ascent equipped him with a holistic view of the digital trade landscape. Passionate about emerging technologies, he leverages innovations like Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Ledger technologies for transformative project delivery.
