Yosuke is MAS Africa’s Regional Industry Director for Agribusiness, based in Senegal. He brings 20+ years of global investment experience, including 17 years of experience in investing in African agribusiness. Yosuke joined IFC in 2008 in IFC’s Global Agribusiness team in
Washington DC and subsequently worked for the Africa Agribusiness team based in Dakar, Nairobi and Johannesburg. Prior to joining IFC, Yosuke worked with Goldman Sachs’ Investment Banking Division conducting financial advisory for M&A and equity transactions across Asia, Europe and the U.S.
Yosuke has been focusing on scaling IFC’s program in agribusiness in Africa to strengthen food security and farmer incomes in close collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders. Yosuke has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Tokyo.
