International Travel to Kenya

International Travel to Kenya

Nairobi is primarily served by Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), located approximately 19 kilometers from the Westlands district. The drive from the airport to the Mövenpick Hotel typically takes between 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. For delegates arriving via regional or domestic flights, Wilson Airport is located closer to the city center and serves as a hub for local aviation.

Airport Transfers and Local Transport

Delegates can arrange airport transfers directly through their respective hotels or utilize reputable private transfer services. For getting around Nairobi, the following options are recommended:

Ride-Hailing Apps: Uber, Bolt, little cab and local apps like YEGO Kenya are widely used, reliable, and considered safe for international visitors.

Registered Taxis: Available at the airport and major hotels. It is advisable to agree on the fare before commencing the journey.

Private Car Hire: Can be arranged through hotel concierges for dedicated daily transport.

The 7th African Tea Convention & Exhibition offers a sophisticated environment for industry professionals to translate market insights into commercial success.
